Automobile Color Choices: the Good the Bad

When a man chooses the color of their vehicle, it reflects upon their personality traits, whether they realize it or not.
Choosing your favorite color is fine, but know that the color of your new vehicle is important as far as safety reasons are concerned.

THE GOOD:

Be aware of this interesting fact: Silver vehicles are 50 percent less likely to be involved in a vehicle crash resulting in a serious injury compared to white colored cars. At least thats what the University of Auckland in New Zealand says from data collected by their researchers from a study they did.

During the night time hours, the most visible color is white.
Most dark colors are seen as black, and thus, harder to see.

When the season is inclement, like the winter snow, fog, or cloudy days, the color yellow is the best choice visually on an automobile. Gray autos are the worst choice.

What's the easiest auto color to take care of?
White. Of course, people have scattered reactions about the color white on their car.
Some reply that white cars don't look as dirty as darker colored autos.
Others stated that a lot of car washes are necessary to keep them clean.

THE BAD:

Atop the list for least safe colors on a vehicle?
Green, black & brown stated by Reuters.
Blue, gray & yellow autos are in the middle rankings for safety.

Eye perceivements are strange.
eye doctors say that the hardest color to see and distinguish, is red.

The color red is the most debateable of choices.
We've heard both sides of the scale about the color red.
People say when driving a red auto they get pulled over less for speeding and don't have as many vehicle accidents.
Yet others said red vehicles are pulled over more often for speeding and feel like they are simply moving targets for crashes.

Dark colored autos absorb more ultraviolet rays than lighter colored automobiles resulting in more sun damage. Think about that when picking dark colored cars.

The suns rays provide heat that is absorbed quicker on darker interior colors as compared to the lighter interiors. Where you live can make a huge difference in the color you choose. Do you really need a brown interior in warm climates, since the interior will make things even warmer?

MORAL OF THIS STORY:

Making sure your auto is clean (so it can be seen as best as can be), as well as having it in the best running condition, regardless of your car color selection, is the most important thing when it comes to safety concerns when operating a motor vehicle.
